“The elite force RAB is always ready to face any untoward situation during the Puja festival throughout the country including the capital”, said RAB Director General (DG) Benzir Ahmed in a press briefing after visiting Gulshan-Banani Sarodio Durgautsab Foundation here Friday evening.
The RAB will impose round-the clock security vigilance at all the puja mandaps across the country through using its bomb disposal unit and dog squad, patrol team unit, CCTV camera striking force and helicopter, he told the journalists, adding that the RAB has 14 battalions and 54 camps throughout the country.
RAB operation director Mahabubul Alam, RAB media and spokesman Commandar Mufti Mahmud Khan, deputy director Major Raisul Azam Moni, Assistant Director Senior ASP M Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Uttara RAB captain Colonel Tuhin Mohammad Masud, among others, were present during this time.
