Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: The certificate distribution ceremony of the 130th Junior Command and Staff Course (GCSC) of the Bangladesh Air Force was held on Thursday (15 January 2026) at the Bangladesh Air Force Base in Cox’s Bazar. At the event, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Javed Tanvir Khan, OSP, BSP, NDC, AFWC, ACSC, PSC, attended as the chief guest and presented certificates and trophies to the officers who successfully completed the training.

Squadron Leader Sabik-e-N-Ahmed, GD(P) of the Bangladesh Air Force was awarded the ‘Chief of Air Staff Trophy’ for best performance in the course. In his valuable speech, the chief guest provided guidance and motivational remarks to all the successful officers. It is noteworthy that 39 officers from domestic and foreign air forces participated in this course. The training aims to equip the officers with acquired professional knowledge to proficiently perform command, staff, and instructional duties at various levels within the armed forces.
