Ashraful Islam, Staff Reporter, Chapainawabganj, Broadcasting News Corporation: A free medical camp was organized in Bholahat Upazila, Chapainawabganj, under the initiative of Dr. Mizanur Rahman, the parliamentary candidate nominated by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. The camp was held on Saturday (January 17, 2026) at Imam Nagar Muslim Dakhil Madrasa. Numerous people suffering from various complex and severe illnesses received medical services free of charge at this camp.

Experienced and specialist doctors provided treatment to patients at the medical camp. Doctors from various departments, including medicine, dermatology and venereology, and general physicians, were present at the camp. Alongside common illnesses, patients suffering from long-term complicated diseases also received free consultations and necessary medical care.

According to local sources, such free medical camps are extremely important for the poor and helpless people in the remote areas of Bholahat Upazila. Beneficiaries expressed their satisfaction with the treatment received.

Organizers stated that this initiative is driven by a sense of humanitarian responsibility and the welfare of the general public.
