Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: The Bangladesh Air Force is going to replace a total of 62 members of the Aviation Transport Unit BANATU-14, MONUSCO, DR Congo contingent deployed in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, NSWC, PSC, the Chief of Air Staff, delivered a directive-oriented speech on Tuesday (January 20, 2026) at the Air Force Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment for the contingent members (BANATU-15) going to Congo.
At this time, he urged the contingent members to carry out their duties in the UN peacekeeping mission with discipline, honesty, professionalism, and sincerity to bring glory to the Bangladesh Air Force and the country. Finally, he participated in a special prayer held for the success of the mission. Among others, the event was attended by the Principal Staff Officers of the Air Force, Air Commanders in Dhaka, and senior officers of the Air Headquarters and bases.
