Chapainawabganj, Broadcasting News Corporation: After 37 years of teaching, Tofiqul Islam, the founding headmaster of Raj Narottampur Government Primary School in Chapainawabganj, was bid farewell with tearful affection. On Tuesday (December 30, 2025), a ceremony was organized in the school courtyard by former and current students and teachers, where the chief guest was Monira Rahman, Assistant Primary Education Officer of Shibganj Upazila. The event was presided over by senior teacher Shirin Akter Parvin, and speeches were also delivered by Aminul Haq Sona, Assistant Professor of Shibganj Women’s Degree College, former president of the institution Abdul Ohab, and the outgoing headmaster Tofiqul Islam, among others. Afterwards, the outgoing headmaster was presented with a commemorative crest and gifts.
