Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: On Wednesday (December 31, 2025), following the Zuhr prayer at 2:00 PM, the security forces and all relevant state departments are making full preparations to ensure the smooth completion of the funeral (Janaza) ceremony and burial of Begum Khaleda Zia. The three-time former Prime Minister, the uncompromising leader of the democratic movement, and Chairperson of the BNP will be laid to rest at the South Plaza of the National Parliament and the adjacent Manik Mia Avenue, beside the martyred President and heroic freedom fighter Ziaur Rahman.
