Konstantinos Floros and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by leaders of both countries\u2019 armed forces and the Greek military attache in Egypt. They discussed Egyptian-Greek military relations and ways to enhance cooperation between their armed forces.<br \/>\nThey also discussed defense and security issues facing the two countries and others in the Middle East and the eastern Mediterranean. An Egyptian military spokesman said Askar \u201cstressed that military cooperation between the two countries aims to encourage peace and stability in the region,\u201d and that \u201cfacing security challenges and threats in the Middle East and the eastern Mediterranean requires joint and permanent cooperation between the two countries.\u201d An official reception ceremony was held for Floros at the headquarters of Egypt\u2019s Defense Ministry.
