In a statement on Twitter, the consulate confirmed it received a report from the Australian foreign ministry and local Sydney police saying that two Saudi citizens were found dead in their homes. The consulate will continue to follow up with the Australian authorities to ensure a thorough probe is launched to uncover the circumstances of the women’s deaths, the statement added.
