Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: On Sunday (01 February 2026), in line with the automatic system to determine fuel prices at a marginal level each month, adjusted according to increases or decreases in global fuel market prices, a decision has been made to supply fuel at comparatively affordable prices for February 2026 based on the attached pricing formula. The retail prices of fuel for consumers have been readjusted and revised as follows:
Diesel: reduced by 2 Taka from 102 Taka to 100 Taka per liter;
Octane: reduced by 2 Taka from 122 Taka to 120 Taka per liter;
Petrol: reduced by 2 Taka from 118 Taka to 116 Taka per liter;
Kerosene: reduced by 2 Taka from 114 Taka to 112 Taka per liter.
The new prices will take effect from 1 February 2026.
