Ashis Chowdhury, Special Correspondent, Broadcasting News Corporation: Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has stated that the party will move forward by following the path shown by “Deshnetri” Begum Khaleda Zia. He remarked that the nationalist forces and the Mohila Dal (women’s wing) will continue to progress.

He made these remarks on Saturday (January 03, 2026), after offering prayers (Ziarat) at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, accompanied by leaders of the Mohila Dal.

During the visit, he added that the leadership and ideals of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia are regarded as a source of inspiration.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity of nationalist forces and accelerating the democratic movement following the directions of Khaleda Zia.

Furthermore, he stressed the need to achieve political goals by strengthening various associate bodies of the party, including the Mohila Dal.
