Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: Friday (06 February 2026) – In order to maintain overall law and order amid the ongoing situation in the country, the Bangladesh Army is carrying out its duties with the utmost professionalism, discipline, and dedication. In this context, from 30 January 2026 to Thursday (05 February 2026), several joint operations were conducted in the capital and various other areas of the country by units under different infantry divisions and independent brigades of the Bangladesh Army in coordination with other law enforcement agencies. During these joint operations, a total of 368 suspected criminals, including terrorists, drug dealers, drug addicts, robbers, juvenile gang members, and thieves, were caught red-handed. In these operations, 51 illegal firearms, 131 rounds of various types of ammunition, cocktail bombs, homemade weapons, and narcotics were recovered from the detainees. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the relevant local police stations for necessary questioning and legal procedures.
