Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: During Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2, the Bangladesh Police conducted raids across the country and arrested 448 people in the last 24 hours. Additionally, 235 illegal motorcycles and 15 firearms were seized during searches.

On Thursday (January 8, 2026), a press release from the Bangladesh Police stated that as part of police operations, 27,431 motorcycles and 30,289 cars were searched in the past 24 hours.

During this period, 235 illegal motorcycles and 15 firearms were seized.

Furthermore, 448 people were arrested by the police on various criminal charges.

This special operation is primarily being conducted to curb teenage gangs, drug trafficking, and listed criminals.
