Mymensingh, Broadcasting News Corporation: Police have recovered the body of a mentally unstable person named Harish Mia (43) in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh.
On Saturday (January 10, 2026), the body of the unidentified person was recovered from a pond in Sadharpara village of Maijbagh Union, Ishwarganj Upazila. Later, his identity was confirmed by the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) through fingerprinting.

Harish Mia was the son of Fazlur Rahman from Noabad village in Karimganj Upazila, Kishoreganj district.

Local residents reported that around 6 a.m. on Saturday (January 10, 2026), they saw Harish Mia’s body floating in the pond. They gathered, retrieved the body, and informed the police. Upon receiving the news, police from Ishwarganj Thana recovered the body. Later, the PBI confirmed the identity of the unidentified body through fingerprints.
