“On the occasion of Christmas, I extend my sincere greetings and congratulations to the Christian community of the country. The birth of the great Jesus Christ is celebrated as Christmas, the biggest religious festival for Christians. Jesus Christ was the seeker of truth, the messenger of liberation for humanity, and the guide of light. Amidst all obstacles and adversities, he always propagated the message of peace, truth, and justice, teaching everyone love, service, forgiveness, and greatness. The essence of all religions lies in serving and promoting the welfare of humanity. From the principles and teachings of Jesus Christ, everyone, regardless of religion or caste, should work unitedly for the welfare of the country and its people. Bangladesh is a land of communal harmony, where people of all religions freely observe their respective religious practices and traditions. On this auspicious day, let us further strengthen this existing communal harmony and participate in the journey of building a modern and developed Bangladesh.”
