Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation: Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed Between Bangladesh Air Force and Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) on Sunday (21 December 2025) at the BAF Headquarters to strengthen cooperation in training, research, and development within the aviation and aerospace sector.

The Honorable Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc, graced the signing ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Under this MoU, both institutions will collaborate on practical training based on drone and aerospace platforms, industrial training, on-the-job training (OJT), internship programs, and joint research and development (R&D) activities.

Special emphasis has been placed on practical training, gaining functional experience, and research related to modern aviation and aerospace platforms through this collaboration. It is expected that this partnership will help achieve institutional goals through enhanced training coordination, robust research cooperation, and platform-based knowledge exchange.

This partnership is a significant step toward building indigenous capabilities in the aviation and aerospace sectors, contributing to national self-reliance and technological advancement. The ceremony was attended by Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) of Air Headquarters, the Vice-Chancellor of AAUB, senior officers of the Bangladesh Air Force, members of the UGC and various ministries, officials of AAUB, and representatives from other civil sectors.
