Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given the following message on the 32nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree and 11th National Scout Jamboree.
“I am very happy that Bangladesh Scouts is organizing the 32nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree and 11th National Scout Jamboree. The Scout movement has been playing an important role for centuries in the world in order to develop children and teenagers as good citizens. In 1972, the scout movement was recognized by the Father of the Nation to develop the children and youth of the country as self-reliant, philanthropic and good citizens. The Greatest Bangalee of all time, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s dream was to build a non-communal, developed and prosperous-Bangladesh. Our government is providing all-around support to Bangladesh Scouts to turn the next generation into skilled human resources. The Awami League government has been implementing Vision-2041 and Delta Plan-2100 to take Bangladesh to a new height in the international arena and transform Bangladesh into a safe and peaceful home for our next generation. I hope, every member of Bangladesh Scouts will perform their duty with patriotism and devotion to build the Golden Bangladesh as dreamt by the Father of the Nation. I wish every success of 32nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree and 11th National Scout Jamboree.
