Dhaka, Broadcasting News Corporation : President Md. Abdul Hamid has given the following message on the occasion of the ‘32nd Asia Pacific Regional and 11th National Scout Jamboree’:
I welcome the initiative of Bangladesh Scouts in organizing the ‘32nd Asia Pacific Regional and 11th National Scout Jamboree’ during 19-27 January 2023 at the National Scout Training Center, Mouchak, Gazipur. I extend my greetings to the participants, IST members, administrative and local leaders, officials of the Asia Pacific region and stakeholders of Bangladesh Scouts. Scouting has been contributing worldwide in building happy and peaceful society through making good citizens for more than a century. The importance of scouting as a co-educational program is immense. I call upon the Scout leaders to play an active role in developing the next generation into humane and skilled human resources by expanding and accelerating the Scout movement. The Scout Jamboree is a unique opportunity for the Scout members from Asia-Pacific region including Bangladesh to strengthen the brotherly relations through mutual exchange of ideas. I hope this bond of friendship would boost up the Scout movement to face the future challenges.
I wish the ‘32nd Asia Pacific Regional and 11th National Scout Jamboree’ a grand success.
